In my last wedding post, I mentioned that one of my favorite parts about a wedding is that it gives the couple an opportunity to really personalize and express how they feel for one another. Nick and Jessica’s wedding was no exception to this statement.
Nick and Jessica’s wedding was held at Hidden Hollow Farm which is located in Crawfordsville on August 26, 2016.
Brides – if you have not had a chance to check out the location, DO IT!
Aside from the trendy rustic appeal, the barn is decorated beautifully and has an elegant timeless charm.
Upon arrival, guests followed a path from the barn to the ceremony location within the woods where the warm summer sun could still peak through all the trees. Close friends and family watched as Nick and Jessica exchanged their vows in a private exquisitely decorated ceremony within the woods.
Once the ceremony was complete, guests cooled off and socialized within the barn. The attendees were thanked for sharing the special day with adorable bottles of honey reading “Love is sweet”, and were asked to leave their thumbprint as a part of a tree canvas.
Nick and Jessica shared their first dance with each other as Mr. and Mrs. McVey underneath a magnificent crystal chandelier.
Afterwards, the dance floor opened up and they had to share the room with some of their younger guests.
Nick and Jessica’s wedding was the epitome of a beautiful rustic summer wedding, and I truly enjoyed seeing all of their amazing ideas come to life.
Congratulations, Nick & Jessica!
